Builder - Freelance

As part of our ongoing projects, HIER is looking for versatile artisans and installers to join us across our different worksites.

Your role

As part of our team, you’ll take an active role in preparing, installing, and assembling site infrastructure, with a constant focus on quality, precision, and safety.

At HIER, we place great importance on in-house production, working directly from our studio whenever possible.

You’ll be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing both temporary and permanent structures, adapting your work to the specific needs of each project. Depending on the requirements of the site, your role may also include occasional technical work in carpentry, metalwork, electrical systems, or plumbing.

Throughout each project, you’ll carry out the necessary maintenance and technical adjustments while ensuring that all applicable safety standards are respected.

Profile

• Significant experience in fabrication and installation, ideally in construction, events, or industry

• Autonomous, rigorous, and practical

• Able to read technical drawings and plans

• Valid Category B driving licence required

Practical details

• Location: Brussels and across Belgium

• Contract: Freelance invoicing under a subcontracting agreement

• Rate: Fixed rate agreed upon according to our fee structure
